A co-work of mine sent me this about a month ago. It’s a great solution for dealing with things like the iPhone 4 and 4S’s retina screens — high density pixels.

Note, this is a totally optional step, as most high density pixel devices thus far do a good job with the normal 1:1 pixel images in my humble opinion.
