I came across this sometime last year and started using it with both co-workers and clients. While we all know how to find out the browser, its version, etc., it’s often a difficult task to get that out of someone less technical.
The site linked below only gets the browser and its version number, but also the OS, along with specs about whether JavaScript and cookies are enabled, along with versions of Flash, Java and their browser and screen size.
Plus, it gives the user the ability to send all that info as a unique URL or via email. It’s been a simple, yet great piece to chase down browser and OS specific bugs, along with get more info than we typically would from the client.
